O2

Hi,

Does anyone have any information on the company O2(ticker OOM)?

I have shares in the company and have them listed in a portfolio on the interactive investor web site. When I checked last night the company, although still shown in the list, was indicating that the prices are "n/a".

Usual TIA

O2 was recently bought out by Telefonica and you should have received either the funds for the sale of or loan notes if you elected for such.

They were taken over by Telefonica, and the shares have been delisted.

Your shares should have been compulsorily purchased by now.

Thanks Terry,

I don't recall receiving a notification asking whether I wanted the cash or loan notes, (as indicated by another poster). Nor indeed the compulsory acquisition notice dated 23 February.

If someone doesn't respond to the offer, is the default that cash will be given?

Presumably I need to contact the Lloyds TSB Registrars??

That would seem to be the obvious next step.

It was taken over by Telefonica.
