Can anyone recommend an online share dealer please?
I'm looking to start having a dabble with a few spare pounds here and there (starting with a pot of 1000).
What are the pitfalls to watch out for with these online dealers?
Thanks

Our share club has used three in the past. All our current business is now done with ComDirect, or squaregain as they've recently renamed themselves
We stopped using other services, like NatWest and Skipton (I think) , when they introduced charges if we didn't have a minimum number of trades per quarter. So you need to be aware of any minimum trading requirements.
squaregain have always been very efficient and at £12.50 per trade (plus duty), are I believe the cheapest for the size of deal you're talking about.

I have used comdirect and Iweb/Halifax (same people). Iweb are cheaper than comdirect. Hoodless Brennan are cheaper still (but I've never used them).
