Until they get an airport it's unlikely to be mega important

The South Atlantic Island of St. Helena is set to get its own international airport

Considering the St Helena population is given at 3,900 and currently RMS St Helena calls 6 times a year with about 140 passengers I do wonder how often a 400 plus seater aircraft will make the journey!
Also they have been discussing/agreeing/disagreeing the idea for many decades so it might not come off!
