I want to open up a bank account for my son, who is 17 and I want to know which is the best bank account with a Debit Card to have?

Which? magazine do reviews. I believe Firstdirect & Smile usually do well. It's a FAQ - search the archive

I agree 100% nationwide is excellent, I've been with them 15 years. Web access requires no special software and works very well.
But it's not a bank of course :-)
