Tony,

Most of the time the webinar is recorded and you can see it after the fact. You can still get your beauty sleep. ;-)

Your email addy doesn't get you very far either! snipped-for-privacy@discussions.microsoft.com

Fellas,

I don't get your jokes but I like your spunk.

PS Why is everyone so dry on the webinar? Can't we have a little fun while we're here?

PPS Right that's it! I'm start> Tony,

AB,

I _think_ Tony is in Australia and would have to get up early or go to sleep late to see the webinar. Its at 10 AM PST. I think AU is about 14 hours ahead of us. Tomorrow!

Beauty sleep = more sleep, no wrinkles and not as cranky ;-)

Where's that Suggestion thread? OK, I'll start;

One-question IQ Test...

There is a mute who wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing one's teeth, he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done. Now if there is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses, how should he express himself? Think about it first before scrolling down for the answer...

He opens his mouth and says. "I would like to buy a pair of sunglasses." If you got this wrong.......please go dig a hole and hide.

Is MS comming out with 1.3 and if so, can someone point me to the article that says so? Do you happen to have any idea if it will relate to the new MS POS, or what exactly? Also where the heck is the Private Discousion group? I have tried to find it, I have a level plan A, but I can't find anything Private.

Vince,

Yes, in December.

I can't find a public link to it yet. But if you go onto CustomerSource and on the main page, right hand side, click on the Subscribe to Insights and then check the RMS box. You will get a monthly newsletter about RMS. I think the public announcement will be in the Nov. issue around the 15th.

Nothing in there about MS POS. Fixes and updates to RMS, most dealing with security and HQ issues.

The private group is for RMS resellers.

It the 1.3 release is mostly fixes and updates it should be a service pack instead of a new version. I would expect more functionality, better integration with QB (like sales details, inventory, discounts, payments).

Plus I also would expect a new interface (like the new POS).

For the amount of money we already paid (and probably have to pay for the new version) I just would expect more then has been delivered in the past. And for our support plans we are not getting much either.

Gerd,

The only thing I know is what I posted to Vince.

If you are on the Maintenance plan, there is no cost.

Watch for more info about the webinar on the 17th. 10AM PST.

Eh, no biggie!

A Canuck, huh, I thought I heard the accent. ;-) That's why I thought you were an Aussie. Get them mixed up sometimes.

Calgary, hell, then you're ahead of us. 10 AM PST, that's about noon your time. Set your alarm clock!! Go to bed earlier!!
