anyone having problems when closing billing cycle?

we have more than one store and close our billing cycle through headquarters. we installed the 1.3 upgrade last month and between the billing cycles that is the only thing i can think of that has changed or that we have done differently. when we click generate in the billing cycle window, we receive an error message that we have to click through on each account as the system goes through the accounts. upon reaching the last account it will then let us continue closing the billing cycle. the error message reads:

"Error#-2147217900 Incorrect syntax near word 'GROUP'"

and then below it shows a select query against the AccountReceivableHistory table, joined to the AccountReceivable table and the Store table

In researching this online it appears that the -2147217900 error has to do with database permissions. We've never had this problem before and haven't changed any settings in manager or administrator. Has anyone else run into this problem? Any ideas???

Thank you Kevin

It's a known issue on version 1.3.1006. Tim

Thanks for the information - I installed hotfix KB921574 so we're now on

1.3.1007

Now when I close the billing cycle instead of getting the error on every single account, I got it on six or seven of the accounts among the 7,000 or so that were processed. I guess that's progress :) At any rate I notified Microsoft of the issue again, and hopefully this will get resolved quickly

Thanks again Kevin

also found out that after closing the billing cycle and clicking through the errors, the statements that print are not accurate. some customers that have a balance do not show a statement, and others that do have a statement that prints do not show the current balance on the statement.
