Credit Card Error

I have been using RMS for 3 years version 1.2 with Citibank for credit card processing. Starting a last Friday I can no longer get a credit card authorization via the internet. I get a failed transaction with this error message 'Connection Error: A network connection failed. Make sure you have a network (or Internet) connection then try again.' However, I am connected to the internet and can access web pages, etc. If I open POS on my back office computer I can get an approval code via the internet so it must be a setting on the POS station. Any suggestions? Calling for every approval is a pain.

Did you check your firewall settings on the POS computer that does not work?

Have you checked to make sure all info is still correct and inplace in SO Admin | File | Configuration | EDC tab | Advanced Options | Merchant/Bank info Doule check all info in here, including the credit gateway. If you input that gateway in a new web page (might have to lead with a https:) then you should get an 'OK' type response. I would try it on both machines to make sure it is not a firewall change.

Alternately: Do you have licenses for both machines (the one up front, and the one in your backroom)? I know our warehouse location operates many SO Managers, but we are only licensed to process a credit card from the one machine with the dongle. Did the machines get switched?
