I installed RMS Ver 2.0 with SP2 in VISTA BUSUNESS , after i created the store database , the database collation showing as below
Server Collation : latin1_General_Cl_AS
Database Collation: SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_Cl_AS
New Collation: latin1_General_Cl_AS
please help me in this collation error

Go to Administrator - Utility and run Collation seting. If it si different press Enter to make the two the same. If you have HQ your Store and HQ must be the same collation setting.
Hi, in general database collation depends on regional setting you have set up un your PC(server) if from some reason you have all servers on collation A and only one on collation B then the best way is to change Server collation to A on server you have problem with. To do this(i did this maaaany times and it works fine!) you have to download SQLExpress installation files(not one xex file, but I'm talking about extracted files from this EXE file) and then run:
start /wait setup.exe /qb INSTANCENAME=MSSQLSERVER REINSTALL=SQL_Engine REBUILDDATABASE=1 SAPWD=test QLCOLLATION=SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AI
ofcourse you have to adjust this command to suit your password and collation you need
