I cannot seem to get my item discounts to automatically apply during a transaction. I've tried the mix and match and the buy X, get Y options, and selected the items the discount should be applied to, but during a transaction, the items come up at the regular price.
I'm pretty inexperienced with this program and I am getting frustrated. HELP please.
When adding the items to the transaction are they meeting the requirements of your discount schemes? Can you give some examples?

Well, I am trying to set up a "buy 1 at regular price or buy 2 for $20" discount. Obviously, if the customer buys 1 top, it will be at regular price, if they buy 2 of them it'll cost $20.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by whether or not my items are meeting the discount scheme...like I said, I'm very inexperienced with this program and it doesn't seem to be easy to use in some ways.

Yes I have done that on every single item I wanted the discount to apply for. As far as I know I have done what I need to do to apply discounts, but it is not showing up in POS as I am doing a transaction.

That is all you should have to do to get the Mix and Max and Buy X and get Y for Z working. It is really tough to say what is going wrong with out looking at your machine. Contact your RMS Partner and have them look at your settings.
