EDC Settlement Report - Incorrect Transaction Time Issue

Feb 23, 2010 3 Replies

We began processing with MercuryPay after moving from another processor. Now there is a time difference of 1 hour between the time printed on the credit card receipt and the transaction time that prints on the EDC Settlement report. The time printed on the EDC Settlement report is 1 hour later than the actual transaction time. Actual transaction time is Central Standard Time and the settlement report is Eastern Standard Time. Global Payments are processed in Eastern Standard Time, but I would think the RMS EDC reporting would be local to the server or the computer the report is run on. We have confirmed that all computers have the correct Windows time. The EDC transaction time was consistent with the local transaction time with our previous processor. AND as I mentioned, the time on the reciept is correct... Any feedback on this would be MOST appreciated...
