Error: The device does not recognize the command.

hi, in my POS and after setup my USB pole display to be used with the RMS PL Driver, Im getting this error message dialog: "The device does not recognize the command."

What could be causing this error? maybe the COM Emulator for the USB? Details: Driver: RMS DRIVER PoleDisplay: Logic Controls - PD6000 Series USB Model RMS: 1.3

thanks in advance

I'm not familiar with the PD 6000, but with the PD 3000 you have to get a specific version to be OPOS Compatible (the PD 3900 to be exact) - are you sure that your device is the OPOS enabled version?

That's still an OPOS driver - it's just provided by MS rather then Logic Controls.

With a USB device, you should have still installed something from the Logic Controls disk though (agai, I'm familiar with the PD3900, not the 6000). I think it's called the VirtualUSB driver or something like that - anyway, it makes the display accessible as a COM port.

Sure, i have installed the COM emulator for the USB pole display, its also the OPOS driver provided by LogicControls, but in rms i specified to use the device managed by the RMS built in driver, not the managed one by the LogicDriver.

Still cant find the solution...
