We have 3 PC's running Store Ops and 2 of them go into evaluation mode from time to time. Can anyone explain why this happens? And why it is only on two of the PC's, On PC seems to do it even more than the other!! We are using the Parallel port dongle NOT the USB dongle.

The machine with the dongle IS switched on all the time and the other machines go in and out of evaluation mode at random!
EG. Till 2 works fine for 3 days, solid, and then goes into evaluation mode when nothing else has changed and then an hour later will go back into normal mode!
What is causing this!?!?

The machine with the dongle has to be the first one to start POS. If POS is not running on that machine, then the others cannot locate the dongle.
The machine with the dongle needs to be started first EACH Day, leaving it up is not good enough. You need to close All instances of POS & Manager, then start POS on the dongle machine. After that you can close the dongle machine or leave it open and you can run the other machines.
