I have recently switched to RMS from a different POS system. In the previous system, our gift certificates were not sold with a voucher number attached. How do I redeem a previously sold gift certificate in RMS without the number, as RMs asks you for the number? Is there a way to trick or bypass this system?

The easiest way to solve this is to create an additional tender type to represent these old certificates. Give it a tender type of "Other". "Other" tenders just require an amount, so you can redeem the old certs without entering a voucher number...
