Heaquarters Manager VPN COnnection Error

When attempting to connect to Headquarters from our remote store to our main store through a VPN, we on a regular basis get the following error:

INVALID OBJECT NAME '#Temp'. Select * from # Temp Where [STATUS] IN (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7)

And then Headquarters crashes.

Usually I can restart Headquarters and it will then connect. I have also noticed that if I sometimes wait a few minutes to put in the password etc, the software works. But lately even that is not working too well.

I have cable broadband and 1.5mb upload and 3.0 mb download.

Are there any settings that I need to change?
