Randy,

Their server may have been down or very busy. Try closing again, otherwise give Mercury a call at 800-846-4472

Jeff,

When a Connection Error is received against transactions, don't they then get moved out of the settlement batch and held elsewhere? I have only had this happen 1x and can not recall.

Thanks, Jocelyn

Jocelyn,

Not that I'm aware of. Had a store Monday, that had Internet problems Sunday (the router burped) and when they tried to settle, they got the Connection Error too. That's what they originally called about.

Come to find out that they also, in their infinite wisdom, being as their Internet was down, they manually entered in the credit card number and created a _bogus_ auth code to complete the sale! Would have been fun if the Internet connection was working on the settlement!!

Anyway, after we got the real auth codes in the database, we settled it while I was on the phone and everything went through fine, at least I assume it has, as I haven't heard back from them yet. I asked them to double check that they got their bank deposit, they should had gotten it at most, by yesterday. I'll shoot them an email to double check

Now this is running the free RMS built-in stuff, not PCCharge or ICVerify.

I love it when auth codes are made up! I just found out that we had a Regional directing locations to make them up. What!?

You know that if they are moved out they will not see them > Jocelyn,
