Error settling transactions

We had some trouble with our internet connection today and couldn't authorize credit cards. Fortunately, the customers who presented cards agreed to leave the card info with us and we were able to hand enter them later when the internet was back up.

To our surprise, at the end of the day, the internet was down again. We closed out the day OK and ran our Z Report, but when we tried to settle the day's transactions, we got a BATCH SETTLEMENT ERROR. When the internet was back up I tried to settling again, but now it says that there are no transactions to settle!

I'm running MS POS 2.0. Any ideas out there as to how I can recover from this? The Z Report says that the batch is closed, but the Batches list does not show that it is.

I was mistaken... the day's batch is closed. Still, it says there are no transations to settle, but BuyPass confirms that the day has not settled.
