When we put a transaction on hold for a customer, it regularly disapears, when we go to recall it, we cant find it. One of the cahiers has noticed if she sets the customer to be a staff acccount customer then the transaction never goes missing.... Is this a known bug?
I also have an issue when recalling a transaction for void, the till being used to recall the transaction seems to freeze. This makes recalling for voids very difficult!!..... Is this something anybody else has had happen?

If transactions on HOLD then if another terminal recalls it and escapes on it you loose all info and no audit is available. You can always make the transaction into a Quote and this way the history is kept.

I understand that if you select and go into the transaction then press escape and cancel the transaction that its going to be cleared, but i have seen the transactions disapearing regularly and this is definately not the cause for it...

I don't believe it's a bug since we use hold frequently with no problems. Not sure what might be causing your issue but I have never had any holds just disappear. Craig
