Nashat, that is doing a lot of work and making a big assumption - that the SQL port is accessible...
This should generate the same result... select item.itemlookupcode,item.description WHERE HQID = 0

i agree with u about the big assumption, but in the same time u aasume that the 4 extra items have been created in the store but what if they might have been created then deleted in HQ? I just wanted to cover all the possible scenarios

Yeah, I thought about that too, but it's far more common to have items created at the store level...
