i had installed HQ and SO with POS in China. so many weired issues with connection, SQL etc...
1.it's only one location, same network, HQ on server in back room, POS in the store, the client wont connect, test connection is OK, all parameters are checked and are fine. the error is wromg ID/password.2.On the item menu i can't set the price, when i type in the price move hit tab to move to the next field or hit OK the price change back to 0.
all this on the POS database....
Server is 2k3 english the POS is W2K chinese, and i'm wondering if SQL can support it. If i go to inventory wizard, template 110 change price i can change all the prices, comit and save, then work and all the prices are in the system, after few hours, they are gone like they were never there, restore won't bring them back.
wish someone in Microsoft could answer it .....
