Hello All, We just installed POS in our store. We stell both online and scratch off lottery tickets. I have buttons setup on the task pad for $0.50. $1, and $5 lottery tickets since the online ones don't have barcodes. Does anyone know how to handle payouts if I have a winning ticket? Right now I have a payout button on the taskpad that asks the clerk what the price is of the lottopayout item. The clerk has to enter a negative value (IE -1.00) in order to ensure that the drawer count is accurate at the end of the shift. Is there any better way of doing this?

We also sell lotto. We use the "Drawer" --> "Payout" function and require a reason code of "Lotto Payout" versus a maintenance, vendor, etc payout. You can then have a custom report in RMS for Drops/Payouts and sort it accordingly.
