Making a lot matrix item inactive

You can't do that. The Lot Matrix is not really an item - it is just a container for items. You never really sell the LM item, you sell certain quantities of it's contained items. Because of this, the usual advice of inactivating items rather than deleting them does not apply. The only issue with deleting the lot matrix is that if you ever wanted to reactivate it, you would have to rebuild it...

Rather then making it inactive [which you cannot] change the code and description to start with a ZZ that way it woul go at the buttom of your lists and not show in the middle of other items.
