Pinpad

Hi! I would like to get rid of my Verifone 1000se since it is annoying that the customer has to hit the green button first, then enter pin and then green button again, unless 2.0 solves this? anyone know? If not, what about pinpad and signature capture? Seems that Ingenico 6550 has been tested with

2.0. Any other? Does the customer still have to hit the enter button to verify amount or can just enter pin and then enter? Does it still print two recipts and is the signature captured on both?

Manny,

Abanco has a _free_ plug-in that adds support for various Verifone pinpads and Ingenico "hydra" (sigcapture/debit/card swipe) devices. A nice thing about this plug-in is that it removes the requirement of the customer having to hit the green button first on the 1000, and simply allows them to enter their PIN when prompted and then hit the green button. Also, when using our plug-in, you can either maintain your existing banking/processing relationship or switch to our platform and most likely receive better rates. Let me know if you need further information.

Also, FYI: this plug-in is supported on RMS 1.2, 1.3, and 2.0.
