POS 2009 Re-install Failure

Aaargh! We trialled MS Dynamics POS 2009 just over a month ago, but decided to use a different software package. I therefore un-installed the POS 2009 and started to use the other company's software. That was a disaster, so I decided that I would go with my first choice and re-install the POS 2009.

The problem is that I am now unable to re-install it. The installation proceeds as normal to probably 99% complete, without any errors, but then rolls back with a message saying the Wizard was interupted and therefore not installed.

There are no errors showing in the Event Manager, there are no obvious entries in the Registry, no DOS panel flash-ups with any messages, it just will not complete the final part of the install.

Previously it had installed without any problems whatsoever. I followed the MS un-install instructions removing the other associated software and rebooted, still just will not go.
