Receipt CC cut on TM-88iii

I am trying to get my receipt printer to automatically cut between the Credit card transaction and the sales receipt using the windows driver. I know it can be done because Rob has help other do in on this forum. I can't figure it out and now Rob is no longer my microsoft partner. My parrnter is trying to figure it out but hasn't had any luck since Friday. Help! Anyone who figured it out. It should be a easy command to insert but I just don't know what it is. Thanks Lisa

Lisa,

Try "D" in the "Controller" font.

Good luck, Matt

Hi, start - setting -right click on the printer- properties- there is an option here for cutting the paper.. sorry i dont have the printer with me right now but i remember chaging something in here.. and also go to SO manager

-database- registers- reciepts formats-double click on the selected receipt - properties- make the cutter true..

Lisa,

You have to make up a controller font just like the other fonts at the beginning of the receipt. As a correction, the name of the actual font in the template is "control." Copy and paste another format to the receipt format, then change the font to "Control" and the font's title to whatever you want.

Good luck, Matt

I am just a lowly Tech Support guy.

Lisa, if you are using the Windows Driver it should by default cut the CC Slip. What version of the EPSON driver are you using?

Could you summarize what the actual commands/syntax needs to be on the template? Thanx in advance!

I wish I could rehire Rob!!! There is a big difference between Rob and the other lowly Tech Support guy.

Thanks for the help Anna. That was were my problem was. Rob had put the current commands on the template I just needed to check partial cut on the printer properties.

Thanks Rob and Jeff for your help also

Hi. I'm not sure I understand exactly what you did...but did it work?!? If so, hopefully you can elaborate a bit on the solution...I'm using the same equipment and have the exact same issue.

Thanx!
