RMS updates

I purchased RMS this past January and have been running since February. Are there any upgrades...and if so, how do I get them?

Also, how to I increase the size of my SQL DB? It seems it's at 94% and losing the DB would be a disaster.

I believe you are suppose to be notified by email or possibly snail mail when updates come out. They get sent right to you. Of course I have yet to see them either.

As for the database it should be set to grow automatically.

In order to be eligible for updates you need to have purchased Maintenance. If you have you can see all available updates through CustomerSource. To actually get the updates you have to request them from MS Support. How to obtain service packs and hotfixes To obtain any one of the service packs or hotfixes that are listed in this article, contact Microsoft Retail Management System Technical Support by accessing eSupport or by calling (888) 477-7877. Service packs can be downloaded from CustomerSource or from PartnerSource. Hotfixes are not available for general download. Hotfixes can only be distributed by opening a support incident. An incident that is opened for the sole purpose of obtaining a hotfix will not be charged.

You database will automatically increment, there is no need to increase the size, unless you have reached the 2GB (MSDE) or 4GB (SQL 2005 Express) size limits.
