Tender Screen Crashes

I have 3 cash registers in two stores that have started to sporadically crash when the tender screen is brought up. The whole screen locks up. Following a reboot, they can go for about a half and hour to an hour before it happens again.

Sounds like it could be a problem outside of RMS.

Does it crash as soon as they hit Tender, or when they hit OK after enter the amounts? (If it's after they hit OK, it could be printer-related)

When it crashes, try pressing the Caps Lock key a few times to see if the light turns on and off. If it doesn't respond, then it's likely a hardware problem (power supply, memory, motherboard are most likely). However if it does respond, then try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete and see if you get the list of applications that are running - if so, can you do an End Task on RMS?

I would also check to make sure that your database is not corrupted. Check to see that the log file is not bigger than 20MB, check out KB#859091
