Transaction lost over $100

The store I am always buying grocery has never fixed their problem in their MS RMS 2.0 system. There is a register that would freeze or loose all transactions entered when amount to be tendered is over $100. If I buy more than $100, they have to swipe my card before the amount reaches $100. And then do another set of receipt for the rest of the items. If the register exceeds $100 for the total sales, all transactions will be erased and receipt would not print if my card is swiped on the magnetic card. Did anybody experience this problem before? Please help. They said they have called their best tech support and no one can help. Thank you.
