Upgrading

Hi I am working on franchise company and we have many companies around the country. I got a package for HQ and RMS 2.0 and lisence. Most of our store owners are computer blind and i am pretty sure they will not figure out how to upgrade the RMS system or make more problem during upgrade. So i just want to upgard HQ and few stores near my location. But I am not sure HQ 2.0 can work with RMS 1.3. (it worked when i upgrade 1.2 to 1.3 but not sure about 2.0) Please be advised.

Internally version 1.2 and 1.3 remained the same as 1.2. However, with 2.0 this is NOT the case. The communications will not work. This will mean that for a number of days your store and HQ will not communicate correctly until they are all on the same version. I suggest that you talk to the company that supplied you the solution about best practices for upgrade.
