I have a customer who has all 1.2 sp3 stores and 1.2 hq. They are now opening a new store and all I can get for them is 2.0 (I know if they had matenience plan they can get 1.3 til Jan 08, but if they dont...). Will the new store (at v 2.0) be able to talk to the hq server/database. If so, what version of hq client should be loaded? and if not, are there any other options other than upgrading all the stores and hq? I think they are going to upgrade eventually anyway which they can under contract, this is more of a hypothetical question although it may happen to another customer of ours in the somewhat near future.
