How exactly can you use this feature. I know how to sell it, by making a serial number and having a product ID#...but I can't seem to figure out how a customer would recieve it. Basically, I sell a gift card say I set it up as GC1, and when the customer comes in to redeem it, how do I know weather they are GC1 / GC2 etc??? I can create a barcode for the product ID, but I can not for the GC1 etc...so how then do I know what I have given them? Even if I purchase the cards through someone else, I still can't figure out how exactly I can re-call the actual gift card?

Rick, I guess that my concern was, say I order pre-made cards, it would be no problem to put the Product ID on them, but then I would need to assign each one a GC# as well, and that may be a bit more difficult no?

by creating a unique ID # under voucher properties. not by product number
