Hello, Is there any way to delete an entire register in QB basic 2002? I have an AMEX register that is so incorrect it would be easier to recreate than try and edit.

No.
Every balance sheet account except Retained Earnings has a register. You cannot delete a register. You can delete an account if there are no transactions.
Every transaction affects at least 2 accounts. If you delete any transaction from your AMEX account you will also be affecting at least one other account. If numerous transactions in your AMEX account are incorrect, probably numerous other accounts in your ledger are also incorrect.
