Here is what happened all of a sudden yesterday.
Everyday, I go into online services and download the previous day's cleared transactions from the bank. I download the QBO file, import web connect files, and hopefully matched transactions will match themselves.
Yesterday morning, I did the same thing and received a message never received before. The message received stated the following: "You are downloading transactions for the following account:
-Financial Insitution: Sovereign Bank - IRIS
-Account type: checking
-Account number: 000000000(the real account number showed up)
Quickbooks does not have an online account to handle these transactions. Please make a selection below.
Use an existing quickbooks account (current account does not show up) Create a new Quickbooks account
So basically, it is looking for an account that is already there but QB cannot find it. I called QB support and they had me create another checking account and merge the transactions. The problem is you have to reconcile each month.
Any other suggestions?
