QuickBooks 2005 Pro I recently reconciled my checking account and all was well. When I went to download my new transactions online I wasnt able to because there is already a list of transactions under Items Received From Financial Institution. I cant match these transactions because the check register already has the little lightning bolt checks because I already matched the transactions before I reconciled. I removed the check marks from the register and tried matching the transactions again... which worked fine... but then when I leave the Match Transfers window and try to go online again the transactions are there still... and they are all listed as unmatched... even though i just matched them all and clicked done. When I try to download and open my new transactions I am prompted to link them to my savings or to a new account... or create a new QuickBooks account... there is no option to link them to my checking account.. i suspect this is because there is already a download waiting to be matched to my checking account.
I would be happy if I could just delete the transactions, or better yet delete the Checking QuickStatement listed in the Items Received From Financial Institution section (in the Online Banking Center window).
I also did and undo last reconciliation but that didnt do any good either.
