Importing data into quickbooks

Jul 04, 2010 1 Replies

I am new to this group and thank you in advance for your help.

I use Quickbooks to run my small business. I have a separate system to track all of my business transactions and at the end of the day, I generate a deposit slip that is that taken to the bank. It breaks down my deposits based on date, client code and deposit amount. Example:

06/01/10 client1 $200.00
06/01/10 client2 $300.00
06/01/10 client3 $400.00 etc etc

This info is then MANUALLY entered into Quickbooks. I already have this data electronically available and I can dump it to a .csv file.

My question: "IS THERE A WAY TO IMPORT THIS DATA INTO MY DEPOSIT TRANSACTION IN QB?"

Thank you.

You would need a 3rd party application such as Big Red's IIF Transaction Creator for QuickBooks found here:
