This just started. The program opens, but takes about a full minute to open fully. Once opened, it behaves normally. Other programs on my computer load normally. Any obvious things to check?

Virus scan, obviously. An attempt to connect to a network device that's not there.

look at how many mindows are open (left side of the screen, under the navagation pane).
I've found that the more of these windows there are open, the longer it takes for the program to open up.
