QB Premier on 2003 Terminal Server

Jul 25, 2005 3 Replies

Hi,

I cannot seem to get quickbooks 2004 to work on a 2003 terminal server. It basicly just complains about a missing file. I have tried as admin and made sure I was in install mode. Any workarounds. I have tried a few suggestions on the web with permissions but nothing has worked thus far. Not even as administrator.

Cheers

Chris

Does it work from the server console? i.e. your sitting at the server

What is the exact error msg that you get?

You have to tweak the Registry settings, else use Relaxed Security on the Windows 2003 server. You can relax security from the Terminal Services Configuration. You have to see whether your situation permits relaxed security or you have to go in for Tweaking the registry.
