2007 Basic Automatic Update Not Working with Bank of America

I just started using Quicken again with Bank of America and the automatic update feature isn't working. When I do the update, it acts as if it is downloading the data and shows that it is updating all of my accounts and says that all accounts have been updated. When I go to the accounts, there are no transactions to review and nothing has been changed. If however I download and run the file directly from the bank everything is updated. This is not just with Bank of America, but with Cornerstone Financial also. It did work at one time. Any idea what might be the problem. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same issue with Citibank Web Connect. I don't have any problem downloading through the bank's site, but the one-step update isn't showing any transactions.

Are you using Direct-Connect or Web Connect Express? With B of A (CA), my Direct-Connect has been and is currently working without issue...

I got into the Quicken online support forum and found a solution. I had to remove BOA from one step updates, then go on the BOA site and download the update files. When the account was updated the program asked me if I wanted to add the accounts to one step updates. I added them and now it works perfectly. The work a round I guess was to add after being asked while updating with a file rather than adding beforehand. There is also a patch involved. Everything is working great now.

It just says Citibank Web Connect.

Sounds like you're using Web Connect Express then -- goes down a lot...

I am not sure of the terminology "Web Connect Express". What I am using is the one step update from withing Quicken as opposed to updating from the BOA site which I had to do for a while. My Bill Pay is now also connected to the BOA site, where that when I enter a bill to pay at BOA it shows up in Quicken with the update. I am not familiar with the difference between "direct connect" and "web connect express", unless it is the difference between what I am doing now vs. what I was doing before. Is this correct?
