Ameritrade 0l-226-A Error

Ok, I have been using Q and Ameritrade for years and everything has been fine. The past few days, I get the 0L-226-A (invalid response from server) message all the time. It never goes away and I can not get my transactions downloaded (I know there are some to download).

OS = XP SP2 I have Quicken 2005 R3 I have validated and super validated my file. I have tried creating a new file.

The odd thing is, I have two ameritrade accounts. The other one is working just fine.

I called Ameritrade. They have no idea and said to try Intuit. I 'live chatted' with Intuit, they say to call Ameritrade.

ANY ideas? I tried a new file, I tried deactivating and re-activating, I tried changing my pin via the web. Nothing works. Always the same error.

Thanks in advance

I have been downloading my Ameritrade transactions with one step update. I do a one step update, and have not experienced any problems. In looking at my online setup, I found that I have just the customer id and account number fields are filled in , and both have the same number. Are you using one step update? Are you downloading transactions from other initiations? Are there any problems with those downloads?

Yea, I have been doing 1-step update for years. Never a problem. In fact, I have two AT accounts, one works just fine, the other recently stopped. Nothing (as far as I can tell) has changed.

Just an FYI. I got a hold of AT Tech Support today. They acknowledge a problem on their end. Seems that if you have a stock in your account that recently split, you will be getting the )L-226-A error in Quicken. ETA on a fix is end of this week, early next week.
