I've been using Quicken 2007 Premier Release R5 since January on Windows XP.
Until a month or so ago, updates generally worked. Now, when initiate a one-step update, about 5 seconds later I get a "One Step Update Summary" screen with everything showing "x account(s) updated successfully" and a green flag with the current date and time.
Obviously, it's not really updating; 5 seconds isn't nearly enough to update all my accounts.
I posted to a new thread because this is not about the financial institution's speed of posting transactions. I don't care if it posts in 1 day or 3. Earlier today, my last checking transaction was from
10/22/08, despite saying "last updated 11/09/08 12:09 pm."When I finally went to my checking register manually and clicked the "Update Now" option in the register tab and it pulled down 14 transactions, which took about a minute or so.
Any idea how to get One Step Update to actually ~update~, rather than lying to me by just changing the "last download date?" It's time-consuming to go into each register and hit the "Update Now," plus it's unnerving that the program lies to me about when it updated.
