Cleaning Up Memorized List (Deleting Issue Pain and Finding) - Please Fix

The above discussion has been around since Feb 17, 2021. Today (April 24, 2021) the discussion got two new posts.

I did not agree with the original poster's complaint (back in February), since when multiple items are selected, the "current location" becomes potentially meaningless. For example: if you select several non-contiguous items, and you make your selections in no particular order (for example, selecting item 230, then item 189, then item 245); there is no particular reason to believe you had any specific "current location" ... to say nothing of the fact that once the delete is completed, no item that was selected will still be available. So where, exactly, should Quicken return to?

More importantly, why would this request receive any consideration from Quicken when so many other WAY MORE IMPORTANT Quicken issues remain unaddressed?

The most recent complaint in the discussion ("It would be nice if Quicken didn't even populate the 'Memorized Payee' list with every transaction") is one more example of users rushing to complain when they have no idea what they are talking about.

If the user does not want Quicken to automatically create new Memorized Transactions, that capability has existed for over a decade (and probably longer) - it does NOT require any modification to Quicken. All the user has to do is go to Edit > Preferences > Data entry and QuickFill, and make sure "Automatically memorize new payees" is UNchecked. That's all there is to it; it's that simple.
