I keep getting messages to reauthorize my account which I do successfully. I even get an email from Chase saying that my accounts have been authorized. However, it never changes from Direct Connect. Right now, it continues to work properly - the only problem is the occasional request to reauthorize. Strange.

I had no problem getting all the accounts authorized and to match up but I am still having problems with one of my CC card accounts during subsequent downloads. Despite the fact that I continue to accept a BALANCE ADJUSTMENT, it keeps telling me on the next d/l that the ending balance is incorrect and offers a new balance adjustment transaction. I am hoping I'll receive some steady state at some point.

My conclusion from reading discussions in the Quicken Community is that the Chase downloaded online balance is incorrect; as long as that is true, users will not be able to reconcile to an online balance.

[Also, those adjustments not only will not help, they insure that you are not - and can not be - "reconciled".]

I suggest switching to reconciling to a paper statement until the downloaded online balances become correct. And permanently getting rid of those adjustments.

Yikes, well, so far this is happening only with one of our two Chase CCs, so I'll just watch for this to continuously happen. I actually am not accepting all the adjustments, I am just changing the initial one to force a zero balance at the end of each day. This is not onerous and I am still meticulous in making sure the actual charge and payment transactions are correct...I am assuming as I said in the future I'll get to a steady state.

For those who may have missed it: starting with Quicken release R44.20, the user can tell Quicken to exclude pending transactions from the Online Balance.
