mortgage payment reminder Principle and Interest no longer show up in the projected balances

But the Subject of the above Community Discussion (and subsequent posts by the original poster in the same discussion) suggest that the op does not understand how Quicken works.
The Projected Balances sub-tab on the Quicken Bills & Income tab does NOT display any "categories". It only displays transactions recorded in, or scheduled to be recorded in, account(s) selected to appear in the Projected Balances sub-tab of the Bills & Income tab. That is: only the net transaction amount is displayed in Projected Balances. And the net transaction amount is only displayed for accounts selected to be displayed in Projected Balances.
In a later post in the discussion, the original poster says, "It now seams the issue is in the mortgage account where I actually create the reminder".
That would explain the op's real (two-part) problem:
- Quicken loan accounts are liability accounts, and the Projected Balance tab does NOT display liability accounts: the Projected Balances tab only displays transactions in Checking, Savings, Cash and Credit Card accounts.
- Regardless of the requirements of the Projected Balances tab, loan payment transactions should be scheduled for (and recorded in) the account from which the loan payment is made (typically a checking account, for example - which is never the actual loan liability account).
