IF YOU INTEND TO PRINT VOUCHER CHECKS WITH QUICKEN 2008 DO NOT PURCHASE/UPGRADE UNTIL A CRITICAL BUG IS CORRECTED BY INTUIT. When printing voucher checks using Quicken 2008 Windows R2 an extraneous zero is appended to the numeric check amount, i.e. $123.450 instead of $123.45 is printed. Intuit confirmed to me that this is a known issue but not yet corrected. I run XP SP2 so do not know if it is a problem running under Vista as well.

If what you say is true, it's certainly a bug, but why do you think it's a *critical* one? Certainly $123.45 is more commonly seen than $123.450, but they both describe exactly the same number of dollars and cents. Especially since you also have the amount spelled out in words, it's hard to imagine anyone getting confused by this.
