Discover Card Downloads?

Anyone else having a problem downloading from Discover lately? Have had it fail for the past several days and figured I'd ask before getting into a long phone call with them.

No problem here. You could reset the account in "Account Details/Online Services". If that fails to fix it then you could disable and re-enable by clicking "deactivate" and then "activate". If it connects after that, once you match your account on Discover with your existing account in Quicken, you'll need to delete duplicate transactions that will download.

When you have a question like that, it will usually help you get a better answer sooner, if you include information like:

1.) Exact financial institution name used in Quicken (See Account List) 2.) "Connection Method" (see the Online Services tab of the Edit Account Details dialog for the account) 3.) An error number and error message ... when present.

I would also suggest you initiate a download within Quicken from the account in question. Don't know why it makes a difference, but I've had more than one experience where downloading downloading based on scheduled downloads fails, but once I downloaded fir the account, everything worked fine from that point on.

Went ahead and reset it. Had done downloads from website previously (on the offchance that it might "reset" itself), to no avail. In any case works now .. who the heck knows why these things just suddenly stop working sometimes... ;)
