: Hello John and "B"...

All I can say is that I've been using Quicken since Quicken for DOS 1.0, all the while converting my [now] .QDF to the lastest and greatest. So, needless to say, I have some experience with Quicken. I am also in the IT field (25 years) as a CNE, MCSE up to now as a CIO. I am positive I did not change anything in the account center. One day, Quicken just stopped downloading from Discover. Typically, when this has happened in the past (and it has), I delete the Online Instructions and set the account back up online.

Granted, when I did this for my Discover Card, it is possible that I chose "Discover Account Center" instead of "Discover Card". But I doubt this is the case, since the timing of the issue strangely seems to co-incide with others who have experienced the same problem without touching anything.

My best, educated, experienced guess, is that:

1) Something came down on a .QFX update to bump the F.I. to "Account Center" rather than "Discover Card"

or

2) The list of F.I.'s somehow got updated bumping or rearranging the order, or behind the scenes coding of references to F.I.'s

Nonetheless, although the fix worked for me, I did fail to mention that Quicken did download a crap-load of transactions that had already been in my register. Pain in the butt to delete, but for simplicity sake, you can choose "Reports", "Banking", "Transaction" and create a report sorted such that all those appear together. Then you simply select them ("Shift" + the arrow keys), right click, and choose "Delete Transaction". This is also a handy way to delete multiple transactions as Quicken doesn't really provide an easy way to do so otherwise. Note, this may take some time depending on how many you're deleting - BE PATIENT, wait for the program to finish the operation.

Good Luck!

For reference, I'm Using Quicken 2009 Rental Property Manager R6

Take care all!
