Download issue - recent

PROBLEM: For last two (3 including today) days, both Web Connect and OSU hang, as follows:

1. Web Connect downloads lead to Qkn freeze, although Task Manager does NOT show Qkn as "Not Responding". CPU usage low.
2. OSU leads to Qkn freeze on initial "updating financial institution" step, with near 100% CPU usage, and NO "Not Responding" in Task Manager.

Tried backing up file, then restoring a file from before problem started. Same results. Now back with latest file, in which I can mark transactions "Reconciled" by looking at FI websites for credit card accounts as I enter charges from slips on day of charge, but find it difficult to update investment activity from broker FI.

Have read of Anonymous-proposed DDoS attacks, but find it far-fetched.

QUESTIONS:

1. Anyone with similar issues? (Have read other threads on BoA and other download problems)
2. Suggestions, please?
