When I invoke "Find", it always starts with "Check Number".
Is there a way to change that? I'd settle for "Any Field".

What version because my ver 2019 finds money. > enter 50 and it finds any 50 entered. I almost never use find
A few years ago, Find (Ctrl + F) was changed to initialize to the field and value of the current location in the register.
If you'd like any field, I suggest you use the global or register search text box on the upper right
