Intuit "Ambassador" Program

I just received an EM purporting to be from Intuit re something it referred to as the "Quicken Ambassador Program." I get so many EMs purporting to be from my bank or the issuers of my credit cards that are really just phishing expeditions that I don't really trust these things anymore. However, this one wasn't screened out by my spam filter, so maybe there's something to it. Anybody out there heard of this Ambassador Program? Anybody know what it is? Thanks in advance. Bill

Yes, there is an Ambassador program. It is people who are pro-Quicken and has a good story to tell regarding one or another aspect of Quicken. Intuit refers some press contacts etc. to these people. You can apply somewhere on the Quicken website, but I don't know what the acceptance ratio is. If you do not have a prior email relationship with Intuit, I'd be suspicious about the invitation, but on the other hand the program does not request much in the way of sensitive data, so perhaps they just need new blood and are soliciting application from registered users.

Not really a good reason to phise the site, though, no financial info or SSN.
