Phanthom Quicken Deluxe 2016 R6 Patch

Well, that was interesting. After an OSU this morning, there was a link to installing an R6 patch in the OSU status. Clicked to install it and got an error that said I needed to reboot. Rebooted, reran OSU, no update link. Looked around the Intuit website, no patch there as well...

When you first posted this, I saw no R6 update notice. This morning, there it was. I was to restart Q when it finished downloading to install. Did so &....... nothing. So I rebooted. Still R5. Did OSU again & was prompted to download R6. Did so &...... nothing. The only R6 I can find about Q is for 2015. And April 1st isn't for a few days.....

It showed up again later today and still failed to install. When I looked at the install log, it appears that it gets to the very end, finds a file that wasn't updated by the previous Mondo patch (QWSubprocess.exe dated 11/9/2015 instead of

2/21/2016) and barfs. Unfortunately, Intuit hasn't release an R6 Mondo patch yet.

I tried installing the update from the Quicken program notice and it did not work. I downloaded the "Manual" Update from the website and it appears to have worked. So Intuit needs to get their act together! Note - I make sure I have a good backup of everything, including the program, before I try updates!

After the past 2 days of.... failure, I was going to use ACD's suggestion to mondo patch this morning. Opened Q to back up my back up's back up & was prompted once again to install R6. So I succumbed to the click bait & voilà!, it worked this time. Perhaps the R6 patch fairy felt our pain yesterday?

Same here. I had to kill Quicken 3 times thru the task manager, but every time got a little further... and it finally worked. It is not running fine.

Did some updates tonight and at the end, Q offered to update, said ok and I could tell right away something was different. It updated fine.
