I sold enough out of a money market to have the cash to buy a new security. I have not owned this security in the past. When I bought it, it failed to show up in the linked investment account. It's also not on the securities list. If I try to add it, I get the message that it's already listed. Where is it??

Are you between the Trade Date and the Settlement Date for your purchase? I don't know how that would affect your particular broker, but it might explain a few days' delay in showing the new security.
